Monitor Audio C2M-T2X Stereo-input, dipole/bipole in-ceiling speaker

A dual-tweeter, stereo-input speaker for music or movies

The Monitor Audio C2M-T2X isn’t your typical in-ceiling speaker. In addition to its 7” woofer, it has two 1” tweeters. That gives you a couple of configuration options when using more than one of these speakers in a home theater setup. You can choose “movie” mode, which enables dipole mode (tweeters out of phase) for excellent spatial effects. Or choose “music” and switch to bipole mode (tweeters in phase) for wide dispersion throughout your room.

This speaker is also an excellent choice for a multi-room music system. The stereo-input design means you can connect left and right speaker wires, for stereo sound from a single speaker. It’s ideal for smaller rooms or hallways.

High-quality drivers with tone-shaping switches

This speaker’s 7″ RST II woofer has a dimpled hexagonal surface that provides excellent clarity with super-low distortion. Its dual 1″ C-CAM gold-dome tweeters use a waveguide that helps them deliver detailed, smooth, and balanced treble throughout your listening area.

In addition to the music/movie switch, there are two more switches to dial in the best sound for your room: there’s a treble cut/boost plus a border correction switch, which cuts bass if you’re installing it in a corner or near a wall.

Easy, secure speaker connections and mounting

Monitor Audio’s Creator Series architectural speakers all use a patented magnetic speaker connection that you can pre-install onto your wires so that your final connection is secure on contact. They also all feature the Tri-Grip II dog-leg mounting system that lets you achieve a tight, even seal with your ceiling using just a screwdriver.
