MartinLogan’s most compact high-performance sub

The MartinLogan Abyss 8 is deceptively powerful for its small footprint, delivering strong, detailed bass that injects life into your favorite movies and music. The sub’s Hybrid Woofer System features an 8″ aluminum woofer backed up by a pair of 8″ passive radiators. That active woofer is driven by a powerful 500-watt RMS Magnitude MT-1kW amplifier, which uses a cutting edge 500MHz Vojtko DSP engine to keep your high-impact bass clean and distortion-free.

Easy to install and control

A built-in low-latency wireless receiver and transmitter give you plenty of flexibility, letting you place the sub basically anywhere within range of an AC outlet. You can then adjust the sub’s volume, DSP settings, phase, and more from your smartphone with MartinLogan’s intuitive Subwoofer Control app. The Abyss 8 is also compatible with the Anthem Room Correction (ARC®) system, which calibrates the sub’s bass to match your room for maximum impact and accuracy.
