Bose Music app for single- and multi-room use

The free Bose Music app turns your smartphone or tablet into a powerful remote. It provides simple, step-by-step instructions for setting up your Portable Home Speaker, and it gives you full control over this and any other compatible Bose Smart Home speakers in your system. Each speaker can play something different, or you can group speakers together to play the same source simultaneously.

Simple, hands-on control

The app is great, but you don’t have to carry a smartphone around with you at all times. A top-mounted mic-mute button lets you disable voice control for privacy, without affecting speaker operation. You can easily control volume, play, pause and skip tracks right from the speaker itself.

Compatible with Apple® AirPlay 2

The Portable Home Speaker has Apple AirPlay 2 built in. That means you can stream audio directly from your iPhone®, iPad®, or Mac® computer. That includes soundtracks from YouTube® videos and Netflix movies.
