We may be living in the era of online streaming, but CDs have been making a comeback in recent years. Some argue that they never really left. Arcam is no stranger to groundbreaking CD player design, going all the way back to their homegrown Delta 70 in 1986. They’ve poured their decades of expertise into the CD5, a member of the company’s new Radia lineup of audio components.

The CD5 is designed to complement Arcam Radia amplifiers. It features a slim, solid build and luxurious visual style, with an aluminum chassis and eye-catching yellow accents. Connect via stereo RCA cables for audiophile-level sound from the player’s ESS SABRE DAC. Or use either the Toslink digital or coaxial digital output to let your integrated amp or receiver handle the digital-to-analog conversion.

If you digitized your music library, or if you own a collection of music downloads, there’s a USB Type-A input to connect a USB flash drive or a USB-connected hard drive. Enjoy your high-resolution music files without connecting your computer.
