Arcam ST5 Streaming music player with Wi-Fi

Arcam’s ST5 lets you add high-res streaming to pretty much any hi-fi system. Its sleek, modern design has clean lines and substantial, hefty construction, with some nice touches that set it apart from the pack. And its flexible streaming options let you play your music from your favorite device or with just a touch of the included remote.

Streaming options

Add this streamer to your home network using Wi-Fi or a wired Ethernet connection. You can then set it up as an AirPlay 2 playback device, or as a Chromecast player using the Google Home app. Support for Spotify® Connect and TIDAL Connect lets you stream to the ST5 directly from those apps. It will also show up in your player list if you’re using Roon. And a USB Type-A port on the rear panel lets you play music from an external storage drive loaded with tunes (sold separately).

Output connections

You can connect the ST5 to your favorite receiver, powered speakers, or amp in a few different ways. Using a high-quality stereo RCA cable lets you take advantage of its high-performance onboard DAC. Or, you could leave the digital-to-analog conversion to your favorite outboard DAC or other component with digital inputs by using an optical or coaxial cable connection.

Arcam Radia

The ST5 will add high-res streaming to almost any sound system, but it’s designed as a companion for one of Arcam’s impressive Radia series of amplifiers and components. When you connect it to a Radia amp, you can also use the rear-panel control port to wire them together and manage both from a single remote. Or you can control them using the free Arcam Radia app for Apple® and Android™ devices.
