Description
A rugged speaker system for large outdoor spaces
The MartinLogan Outdoor Living Foundation 8.1 System is versatile and weather-resistant — ideal for creating an immersive sound system for a large pool or patio (up to 3,000 feet). The system includes eight hardy satellite speakers that can be stake-mounted in the soil, plus a burial-rated 8″ subwoofer for deep, musical bass.
A standard two-channel amplifier can power the speakers in a stereo system at 8 ohms, or a mono system at 4 ohms. Wiring diagrams for setting up each type of system are included. For best results, use the custom-designed MartinLogan MP500 power amplifier. You can also contact a Crutchfield A/V system designer for solid (and free) advice on how to set up your outdoor sound system.
