Straight answers to what homeowners ask us most.

How do you get even coverage without bothering the neighbors?

We use several smaller landscape speakers placed around the yard and aimed at your seating areas instead of a couple of loud ones. That way the sound stays even and does not need to be turned up high to reach everyone. We will talk through your property layout at the free consultation.

What is an in-ground subwoofer and do I need one?

An in-ground subwoofer is buried in the yard and adds deep bass that small satellite speakers cannot produce on their own. The MartinLogan 8.1 with in-ground subwoofer is one option we install. Not every yard needs one, and we will tell you what makes sense for yours.

Is the equipment built for weather?

We install weather-rated outdoor speakers and equipment made to live outside in North Jersey, including landscape, rock and pergola models. Wiring is low-voltage and buried.

Can I control the music from my phone and use different zones?

Yes. We can set up zones, such as patio, pool and garden, so you can play different music or volume in each from your phone.

Can you connect it to my indoor audio, outdoor TV and lighting?

Yes. We can tie the yard into your whole-house audio, pair speakers with an outdoor TV, and coordinate with outdoor lighting so the whole outdoor space works together.
